Barcelona Reportedly Close to Deal for Bryan Monte

Barcelona appear set to bolster their backcourt with Montpellier and Brazil international Bryan Monte, according to a report by Mundo Deportivo. The 23-year-old is reportedly close to agreeing a three-year contract with the Catalan club that would run until 2030.

The proposed move would not take effect until the summer of 2027, meaning Monte would continue his spell at Montpellier for some time before switching clubs.

As of now, the transfer has not been officially confirmed by either Barcelona or Montpellier.
