EHF Reveals New Prize Money Structure for 2026/27 Champions League

The European Handball Federation has announced a new prize-money system that will accompany the restructured Champions League and European League competitions from the 2026/27 season onward.

Under the revised model, a club that completes a perfect campaign in the Champions League could earn as much as €850,000, marking a significant increase at the top end of the reward scale.

By comparison, the maximum achievable income in the European League stands at €160,000, highlighting the gap between Europe's two premier club competitions.

The changes reflect the EHF's broader effort to overhaul the competition formats, with financial incentives now more closely tied to performance across the new structure.
