The European Handball Federation has carried out a successful trial of a new goal-line camera system designed to give match officials a clearer view when making difficult goal-line decisions.
The technology was tested during the Women's EHF EURO Cup Finals held in Bucharest at the end of September.
Following the positive results of the trial, the EHF plans to roll out the camera system across all relevant venues ahead of the Women's EHF EURO 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to improve refereeing accuracy in the sport.
