Magdeburg's Icelandic Duo Power Perfect Champions League Run in Kielce

SC Magdeburg continued their flawless campaign in the Champions League, defeating Industria Kielce 35-30 on the road in a repeat of the 2023 final.

The German side's victory was driven largely by Ómar Ingi Magnússon and Gísli Kristjánsson, who each found the net 11 times, combining for 22 of Magdeburg's goals.

Kielce attempted a comeback during the match but ultimately could not overturn Magdeburg's lead. The result keeps Magdeburg's perfect record intact in this season's competition.
