Magdeburg secures French left back Briet from 2028

SC Magdeburg have confirmed the signing of French international left back Thibaud Briet, who will join the reigning German champions from the 2028/29 season.

The 26-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Bundesliga club. He will move to Magdeburg from HBC Nantes, the French side he has represented since 2019.

Briet came through Nantes' own youth system before establishing himself with the club's senior team and the French national side.
