Podravka Claims First Women's Champions League Win as Regional Clubs Struggle

In the current 16-club format of the Women's EHF Champions League, teams from the region remain stuck near the bottom of the table.

Budućnost and Krim both suffered their fourth defeats of the campaign, extending their winless runs in the competition.

Podravka, meanwhile, secured their first victory of the season, offering a rare positive result for the region's representatives in this year's tournament.

The results highlight the ongoing struggle of regional clubs to compete against Europe's top women's handball sides in the current league structure.
