Radulović: Youth Handball in Belgrade Struggles to Compete for Talent

Handball coach Slaviša Radulović has spoken about the difficulties of working with children in Belgrade, describing it as a constant effort to bring new players into the sport.

According to Radulović, handball trainers face tough competition from football, basketball, and volleyball when trying to attract young athletes, requiring extra effort compared to other disciplines.

He also raised concerns about the current approach in youth categories, questioning the focus on chasing victories rather than prioritizing long-term player development, and asking where the next generation of quality players will come from.
