Serbia Suffer Heavy Defeat to Macedonia at Trophy of Macedonia

In the first round of the Trophy of Macedonia tournament held in Ohrid, the Serbian national team suffered a heavy 21:29 defeat to hosts Macedonia, trailing 9:17 at halftime.

Serbia's squad was notably weakened, missing several of its top players due to retirements and decisions by clubs Zvezda and Naisa not to release their players for the tournament.

In the other opening match, Montenegro and Croatia played out a draw.
